This orientation and appointment event is designed to welcome new MRC Junior Red Crescent officers providing clear insight into their roles, responsibilities, and leadership values. The program aims to inspire confidence, strengthen discipline, and develop capable leaders who can create a meaningful and positive impact on the unit and the wider community.

MRCS is looking for 10 volunteers to assist and participate in a performance during World Red Cross Red Crescent Day on 8 May 2026 (Friday), 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. The performance will feature a combination of storytelling, poetry, singing, and acting to highlight humanitarian issues and the role of Red Cross Red Crescent volunteers (approximately 30 minutes). We are seeking individuals who are fun, enthusiastic, and talented, able to commit to 2–3 days of practice, and preferably based nearby as transportation and travel allowance will not be provided. Please note that, due to e-invoicing requirements, allowances are not applicable for foreign volunteers. Indicating “Going” does not guarantee selection; only shortlisted volunteers will be contacted.
