This community-driven initiative aims to restore green spaces, promote biodiversity, and raise awareness about the importance of trees in combating climate change. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate — whether you're a nature enthusiast, student, family, or just someone who cares about the planet, your contribution makes a difference! Participants will help plant native tree species along designated areas, guided by forestry officers and environmental groups. All necessary tools will be provided. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing, bring drinking water, and don’t forget your hat and sunscreen! Beyond just planting trees, this event is a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, learn more about environmental stewardship, and be part of a positive change in our community. Every tree planted is a step towards a greener, healthier future for Miri and beyond.
