International Humanitarian Law Advanced Course VIHL1102

Description
The rules of war exist to protect humanity—but how well do we understand them? Armed conflicts continue to affect millions of people around the world, making International Humanitarian Law (IHL) more relevant than ever. Whether you are a humanitarian worker, volunteer, member of the armed forces, legal practitioner, student, or simply interested in humanitarian issues, understanding these rules helps us better appreciate the protections afforded to people in times of conflict. This year's International Humanitarian Law Advanced Course goes beyond traditional lectures. Participants will not only learn the legal principles of IHL but will also put them into practice through the RAID CROSS simulation—an interactive experience that challenges participants to make decisions, confront humanitarian dilemmas, and reflect on the consequences of conflict from different perspectives. If you're looking to deepen your understanding of IHL in an engaging and practical way, we'd love to have you join us. 📌 Course information, programme and registration details are available in the posters below. ⚠️ Places are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
